Terms of service
Draft for client approval. Complete the marked items and submit the document to the client for review before production publication.
1. Scope and definitions
The service means the Hala Targowa website, its public API and mobile applications to the extent that they are released and brought within these terms. A user is a person using these services. A trader is a person or entity presented in a stall profile. In this document, “Hala Targowa” means the entity operating the service.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R1: the operator’s full legal name and legal form, registered address and address for service, tax identification number, and the applicable register and registration number, including KRS where relevant.]
The service presents stalls, events, articles, a map and practical information, and allows users to send enquiries. This document concerns digital services. Trading in the hall, renting space and deliveries are covered by separate hall rules supplied by the operator.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R2: the names and platforms of the applications covered by these terms, their available features and the date from which these terms apply to them.]
2. Using the service
Using the website requires an internet-connected device and a browser. Interactive features, such as the hall plan controls, use JavaScript. Public content can be viewed without a user account.
Use the service for its intended purposes and respect other people's rights. Do not submit unlawful content, spam or malicious software. Do not impersonate others, bypass security measures or disrupt the website or API.
Browsing begins when you open a page address in your browser. You can stop by closing the tab or navigating to another website. Sending a message requires completing the form and pressing the send button. Typing into a form alone does not submit an enquiry. Closing the page after sending does not delete the received message; the Privacy policy explains how personal data is processed.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R3: conditions for starting and ending other services, confirmation of any charges, application requirements, and conditions for API access and data reuse.]
3. Stall and trader content
Stall profiles help users find traders and their products. Confirm availability, prices and purchase conditions directly with the seller. Viewing a profile does not place an order, and sending a rental enquiry does not conclude a lease.
Outdated or incorrect stall information can be reported to Hala Targowa. Reports about the service and its content are distinct from complaints about purchases from a particular trader. Direct purchase complaints to the seller. These terms do not exclude liability arising under applicable law.
4. Forms and personal data
The contact form is for correspondence and the rental form is for enquiries about space in the hall. Provide information needed to handle your enquiry and correct reply details. Do not send passwords, payment card data or unnecessary information about other people.
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. These terms refer to that document without repeating its provisions.
5. Intellectual property and archival photographs
Making a text, photograph, plan or logo available in the service does not grant unrestricted permission to copy or republish it. Before reusing material, check its author credit, source and conditions of use. A missing credit or an old photograph date does not establish permission for unrestricted use.
When asking to reuse material, provide the page address, identify the photograph or text passage, and describe where and how you plan to publish it. Sending an enquiry or receiving no reply does not constitute permission to use the material.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R4: rights holders and licences for the materials, including archival photographs, required credits, and the person or entity authorised to grant permission and the process for obtaining it.]
Concerns about authorship or use of material can be reported through the Contact page. Identify the material and describe the issue.
6. Complaints and contact
Report service problems and complaints about digital services through the Contact page. It contains the contact form and current Hala Targowa contact details.
Describe the problem, identify the page or application feature, and provide details that allow a reply. If useful for reproducing a fault, include its approximate time and your browser name or application version. Do not include confidential data in screenshots.
After a successful form submission, the page confirms that the enquiry has been sent. This means the service has received the message; it does not mean a complaint has been resolved. If the form shows an error, check the required fields and try again, or use the email address on the Contact page.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R5: the entity handling complaints, other submission channels, the handling and reply procedure, the applicable reply deadline and further steps.]
7. Changes to these terms
You can keep a copy of these terms by saving the page or printing it from your browser. When referring to the terms in correspondence, state the date you read them and identify the provision relevant to your enquiry.
[TO BE COMPLETED BY THE CLIENT, R6: the effective date of the approved version, notification method and advance notice of changes, access to earlier versions and the process if a user does not accept a change.]
